AESTHETIC MEDICINE AND INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE Filling the gap

Aesthetic Medicine, born as a response to the growing demand for prevention and treatment of skin
blemishes, inevitably responsible, even when minimal, for psychological discomfort, after a slow and
gradual evolution, has finally found its identity in the panorama of the various medical disciplines.
Today, in fact, Aesthetic Medicine is widely recognized as a branch of Internal Medicine which, often
starting from a skin blemish, broadens its preventive or therapeutic objectives, up to taking charge of
people's health at 360 degrees.
In this scenario, almost unconsciously, Aesthetic Medicine has begun to share the objectives of
Integrative Medicine: to allow everyone to achieve or recover a global condition of optimal well-being,
even when lost due to a simple skin imperfection.
Based on these assumptions, the International Congress of Integrative Medicine (CIMI), in its version
CIMI IN TOUR-LIMITED EDITION, after the recent success in Brazil ("Back to the future", Uberlandia, 19
and 20 November 2022), lands in Italy, on 16 and 17 September 2023, for the key event “Integrative
Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine. Filling the gap”.
The purpose of the congress is to open a window of dialogue between those doctors and those dentists
who, carrying out their activity in the field of aesthetic medicine, on the one hand, and of integrative
medicine, on the other, in fact, do not always have the concrete possibility to exchange their own
personal experiences, thus missing out on extraordinary opportunities for mutual enrichment.
In compliance with these objectives, the non-secondary purpose of the congress is to strengthen
cultural relations between Italy, Brazil and Japan.
To enhance the priceless heritage of common values, mixed with friendship and sympathy, we could
only choose the heart of the Eternal City: ROME!
